The Hadejia Jama'are Development Authority [HJDA] was established on Wednesday August 21st, 2019 by an Executive pronouncement by the President and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of Nigeria, H.E., Muhammadu Buhari GCFR at the inauguration of Agencies for the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Under My leadership as Director-General (DG), the Agency will position itself in light of the prevailing Humanitarian situation in the country through its Vision, Mission and Core values to promote Human dignity and Integration of basic Humane benevolence and compassion in the treatment of all Nigerians
Our Objective is to develop and align all the relevant policies that can guide the effective coordination of all stakeholders (and especially the core focus areas of the Agency) towards creating a long-lasting value system and strengthening of the institution.
The Vision of HJDA is "to improve the quality of life of the rural people in the state. Our Vision is to develop understanding among the people for better appreciation of each other's problems and to explore opportunities for collaboration of efforts for sustainable agricultural and rural and urban development.
The Mission of HJDA is "to catalyse efforts of the people of the state, to help them restructure their rural societies and to reconstruct the economy of their rural people, by launching concerted, and wherever possible, cooperative action with determination, by the people of the region as follows.
Keeping in view the socio-economic scenario of the developing country of Nigerian state, HJDA is mandated to address both agriculture and rural development. HJDA should make "Sustainable Agriculture and Rural Development" its main goal. In line with this goal, the Organization should have its own Vision and Mission that would provide proper direction to the activities of the Organization and the results it can achieve.
